Attention Members: Get your Shop Local FREE Advertising
We are excited to bring a new opportunity to improve exposure and potential sales for your local business. In our ongoing efforts to that end, The Floresville Chamber of Commerce (FCOC) Board will be providing an added benefit to members through our Shop Local campaign. The FCOC is working in conjunction with the Wilson County News to highlight our members with a complimentary advertisement for all paid members in good standing. The FCOC ads will appear in a ¼ page block with each member shown in a 1.5" × 1.5" space. Each member can design their space to fit their needs.
Next Steps – there are 2!
Each business will have their ad run at least once, possibly more both in black/white print in the weekly paper, and in color online. This Shop Local campaign will be running for 13 weeks beginning in November 2025 through January 2026. The sooner you reach out to make arrangements for your ad, the sooner it will run.
Your FCOC Board continues to work hard to create opportunities and events which aim to improve your business exposure and success. We hope that you enjoy the advantage of this new membership benefit. Chamber announces new office manager

We just wanted to take a few moments of your time to announce that we have filled the position of Office Manager for the Floresville Chamber of Commerce.
Welcome John Hineman to the team. John has an extensive background in education, specializing in graphic design, video production and has a lot of experience with computers, tech and social media advertising.
As one would say, he "checks all of the boxes" for what we were looking for as we continue to serve our members and he already has some creative ideas on more things that we can do to help promote our business members.
We would also like to thank everyone for your patience during this transition. John is in place and ready to serve. He is still settling in but is already making a difference for our organization.
Our office hours will still be Monday and Wednesday 9-4 and Friday from 10-4. John already had a few obligations that could not be changed but he will communicate any deviation from our regular schedule at least a week before those days.
Please join us in welcoming John to the team!

Chamber represents at Geocaching event

The chamber had a great day providing delicious snacks at the concession stand for the Geocaching Event today at the Floresville Event Center.
It was a joy to meet so many people for all parts of the US and other even other countries. They were all delightful, and had wonder things to say about Floresville!!
